Departing from the Gold Coast, fly to Lightning Ridge for a guided tour of this famous opal-mining town. Explore an underground mine, visit Amigo’s Castle, heritage miner’s camps, and watch an opal-cutting demonstration before enjoying morning tea.
Enjoy a two-hour scenic flight over the striking landscapes of central New South Wales before touching down for a classic pub lunch at the iconic Tibooburra Hotel. Afterwards, continue your journey to Arkaroola in the spectacular Flinders Ranges.
Arrive at your wilderness sanctuary, where a 3-course dinner and stargazing under some of the clearest skies in the world await.

In the afternoon, continue East via Bourke before returning to the Gold Coast, filled with memories of the outback’s most iconic treasures.
