Covid-19 Practices and Cancellation Subclause

We strongly recommend that everyone download the COVIDSAFE APP before Touring.

If you are travelling from an area declared a COVID-19 hotspot during the past 14 days, you will not be permitted to enter Queensland. Approved entry into Queensland for all travellers is subject to completing and signing a Queensland Border Declaration Pass and undertaking to present for a COVID-19 test if you develop symptoms (health.gov.au).

If you are feeling unwell, please consider the health and safety of your fellow guests and do not travel. 

Pre-screening

Covid-19 Self-Assessment Declaration Form: All guests travelling on a Seair Pacific aircraft will receive a COVID-19 Self-Assessment Declaration form that must be completed the day prior to your travel to the airport. Please print and complete this form for all persons travelling on your booking the morning of departure. If your risk rating falls within the red ‘high risk’ area do not attend the airport and please contact our Flight Operations Team on +61 7 5599 4509 advising you are unable to travel.

Airport Check-in and Aircraft: For the health and safety of tour guests, passenger numbers have been reduced to allow for adequate spacing between guests in accordance with current aviation requirements.

Temperature Testing: Temperature testing for all tour guests will take place via a non-contact infrared thermometer will take place before boarding. Any temperature 37-37.5 degrees Celsius will be considered with caution. Any temperature equalling 37.6 degrees Celsius or higher will be referred to as ‘high risk’ and travel to Lady Elliot Island will not be permitted without further medical clarification or clearance. A full refund will be available, or travel can be postponed to a later date once medically cleared.

Tour Well Packs: All passengers will be provided with an individual Tour Well pack containing a face mask, hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes for the duration of the Tour. 

 Sanitisation and hygiene:

  • Company pilots and staff have been advised on appropriate hand washing and hygiene techniques, as well as being provided with hand sanitiser
  • Guests are also encouraged to maintain a hygiene
  • Our aircraft are disinfected with a high-grade disinfectant spray in-between charter.
  • Hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes will be available for the duration of the tour

Cancellation Sub-Clause: In light of Covid-19, if government-imposed travel or state/territory border restrictions prevent from travelling with Seair Touring, please contact our Flight Operations Team as soon as possible.

Your options include;

  1. Changing travel dates – subject to availability;
  2. Placing your payment in credit against your name until you’re ready to re-book at another time; or
  3. A full refund

Seair Touring is not responsible for any disruption that may be caused to your personal travel plans prior to your arrival at our Departure Port or after your return from the Tour (i.e. ongoing flight connections etc).
