Training Overview

Seair Pacific provides endorsement training for Cessna Caravan (C208 & C208B) and Britten-Norman Islander (BN2) aircraft.

Seair owns and operates a fleet of 8 aircraft, including 4 Caravans, and 4 Islanders.

Specialist training on Floats, Twin Otters and Nomads is also available on request.

Cessna Caravan

CESSNA CARAVAN (C208 & C208B) ENDORSEMENTS

Seair's C208 endorsement course usually covers 3 days and includes Ground School, Administration charges, a C208 training manual and approximately 3 hours of flying.

Itinerary Guideline

Day 1

  • Ground School 0900 to 1600

Day 2

  • Ground School 0900 to 1500
  • General Handling Flight 1.0hrs

Day 3

  • Circuit Flight 1.0hrs
  • Consolidation Flight 1.0hrs

The ground school will generally take 1.5 to 3 days, depending on the students' background and preparation for the course. The ground school will cover Basic Turbine Theory, C208 Power Plant, Systems and Performance as per CASA syllabus of training.
