Pilots

Seair Pacific hires well qualified and precisely trained pilots to fly our guests and clients. All of our pilots hold CASA commercial pilot licences and go through rigorous flight checks each year conducted by Peter Gash, Managing Director/Chief Pilot, and his team of highly experienced training and checking captains. Minimum requirements for pilot recruitment are listed below:

  • Australian Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
  • 700 hours total aeronautical experience
  • Multi Engine Command/Instrument Rating (MECIR)
  • Endorsement on C208/BN2 (arranged through Seair Pacific prior to commencement)

Engineering

Seair Pacific has its own engineering department based at Coolangatta Airport to ensure that the aircraft are maintained to the highest possible standard. We also employ full time powerplant mechanics to ensure the highest quality of safety.

Seair Pacific is committed to training and developing the careers of our engineers. Seair regularly employs apprentice aircraft engineers, introducing them into the exciting world of aviation maintenance.
